Tuning the Vine

I love wine pairing and wine tasting and food. But sometimes driving out to Stellenbosch or Durbanville feels like such admin. I've become Capetownian after only 2 years of living here in the Mother City. Anything further than 15 minutes feels far, I mean seriously, why is everything so convenient here.

So what does a city slicker do to have some fun wine pairing? Tuning the Vine could be the answer, it's a weekend event running from the 31st October til the 2nd November at the Lookout in the V&A Waterfront.

What to expect

I've been told that it's a new urban, fun food and wine experience right in the Mother city, and that's within 15 minutes of my driving so I'm super excited about that. There will be rockstar wine makers and foodies so this should be something to look forward to later this year.

The important bits to jot down

Save the Date: 31 October – 02 November 2014

Venue: The Lookout (V&A Waterfront)

Tickets are priced to suit Tuner’s pockets at R150, which is pretty reasonable considering the price of a meal these days.

Have a gander at the official website for more info on the event.

I'm looking forward to this one after I come out of hibernation during these cold winter months.
